THE IDEA

To better understand our idea behind the manufacturing plant for prefabricated post-tension brick and block and masonry panels, we will use as an example a Beauty (Cosmetology) school, which trains both  men and women to cut and style hair.

The average cost for cosmetology training ranges from $30,000 to $35,000, and classes last anywhere from  nine to eighteen months.

On the second day of training,  in many places, or within the first week, students at the cosmetology school are already practicing on customers’ hair.

The school charges the customers approximately 50-65% of what a retail hair salon would charge.  The cosmetology school keeps all of the money.  The students, if allowed by the school to do so, may retain some or all of the tips the clients may give them.

Simply said, the cosmetology school:

  1. Has each student for approximately nine to eighteen months;
  2. Gets paid by each student for training;
  3. Has each student working on clienteles’ hair within the first week of training;
  4. Retains all of the money earned by all the students over the entire length of time they are in training.
  5. All of the above, just as we described it, is PERFECTLY LEGAL.

 

 

THE APPLICATION

Now, if you understand how the cosmetology school operates, as we just outlined it,  then please allow us to NOW explain how we can apply this idea to a prefab masonry panel manufacturing plant, which we operate.  We train and supply all of the masons required to build all of the prefabricated, post-tension brick and block masonry panels in our plant.

Understand this:  The only way you can effectively teach men and women how to lay brick,  block and stone is to:

  1. Teach them how to build a beautiful brick, block or stone wall;
  2. The instructors grade each wall;
  3. The students then tear their walls down, and build them again, and repeat this process until:
    • They can lay 150 modular bricks in one hour
    • They can lay (50) 8″x 8″ x 16″ CMU blocks in one hour
    • They learn to build all of the corner leads, both out of brick and block
    • They can build a 2′ square brick and block pier / chimney, and must be able to lay 100 modular brick in two hours or less, and then build the same size pier/ chimney out of  (24) 8″ x 8″ x 16″ blocks in one hour or less
    • They can lay twenty (20) sq. ft. feet of real stone, and forty (40) sq. ft. of faux stone, both in four hours or less.

All of the walls are jointed, brushed off and re-jointed. Near perfect workmanship.

If you can build structures such as the NYLO hotels (featured on this website in our photo galleries), with each hotel having an average of 75 panels, each with 3 windows installed, then load these panels on a truck, panel by panel, and the deliver them to locations all over the United States – from Dallas, Texas to Providence-Warwick, Rhode Island to Wichita, Kansas – then you can easily build any commercial or residential building, anywhere in the USA, FOB our yard, and transport the panels to any location in the USA, or across the globe for that matter.

We could be building and selling FOB our your, 10,000 to 15,000 square feet of masonry panels per day, within 60 days from the date we open the panel plant / training center. THERE ARE 24 HOURS IN A DAY, 7 DAYS IN A WEEK.

WHAT ARE THE EASIEST WALLS TO BUILD?

The easiest walls to build are sound walls for the D.O.T. in any state of the USA, and for housing, which is SAVING LIVES  from hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and fires every year.

IS THERE A DEMAND FOR MASONS?

There is a huge demand for bricklayers and blocklayers, both nationwide in the USA and worldwide.

HOW MANY JOBS WILL BE CREATED?

We will be creating high-paying jobs for thousands of people- in the United States.

HOW DO MASONRY PANELS SAVE LIVES?

Block walls made with reinforced masonry  grout are a lot stronger than 2′ x 4′ plywood walls.

DOES IT LOWER BUILDING COSTS?

And our brick and block masonry panels results in lower costs to build housing for everyone, including the homeless, low income families, then middle class and even for the rich and wealthy.

the last prefab story, for now

From about 2005-2010, about 3 million or more square feet of sounds walls were constructed on Highway SR 51, North of Downtown, Phoenix, Arizona. They were made of concrete, not block, and each panel was approximately 24′ long, 8″ wide, and 2′ tall. H Beams were driven into the ground, then each panel was picked up and slid down the H beams into place, thus creating a sound wall.

Needless to say, they had stock yards where all of the panels were stored until they were needed and put in place. I happened to drive by one of these yards and saw a truck with panels on it waiting to be unloaded.

I pulled in and asked the driver where the panels were being built. Much to my surprise, he said “Jacksonville, Florida”. Can you believe that? I then asked him if he knew how much the freight was to haul this truckload of panels from Jacksonville to Phoenix. He had the information in his truck. While he went to get me the cost information for me, I estimated the square footage of panels he had on the truck.

“Now sit down.” It costs $15.00 a square foot just in freight to haul them from Jacksonville to Phoenix. IF we had a prefab plant here in Phoenix and sold them the same size panels built with decorative CMU block in 2005-2010, and got $15.00 per square foot FOB from our yard, how much money would be made?

NOT TO MENTION, across the USA, the state DOTs are building SIMPLE CMU BLOCK Sound Walls at a breakneck pace.
